Sharjah's Department of Economic Development has said an electronic game that was found to be offensive to Islam has been withdrawn from the local market, Gulf Today has reported. The 'Call of Duty: Black Ops' PlayStation game was confiscated from a number of game stores in the emirate, as in one of the stages in the game has the player shoot a library full of copies of the Holy Quran with the aim of burning it down, the department said.
