Sharjah launches new taxi service for special needs

Sharjah Transport, has rolled out family van cab service for the elderly and special needs passengers at Al Qasba, Khaleej Times has reported. "The taxi is the first of a series of vehicles to be specified for this important segment of the society to meet pressing demand," said Abdullah Al Zari, director general of Sharjah Transport. "Each and every cab firm operating in the emirate shall specify one vehicle, while Sharjah Taxi shall start with three cabs to be raised to ten very soon," he added.
