Sharp introduces its latest technologies in Qatar

Sharp Middle East and its partner Al Muftah Trading & Cont. Co. officially introduced the latest innovations from Sharp in the professional display and printing sectors in Qatar.

As part of its professional display business, Sharp focused on unveiling the world's largest 90inch full array LED display.

"As the largest addition to Sharp's continually growing large screen professional portfolio, and offering size and scale unlike any other LED display to date, this 90-inch LED monitor is at the forefront in the industry of commercial displays," said Ravinder Kumar, Deputy General Manager, Business Solutions Division, Sharp Middle East.

"With a growing demand in Qatar and the wider Middle East for versatile, large size LED displays, we are committed to providing solutions which meet these criteria.

"Working closely with our partner in Qatar, Al Muftah Trading & Cont. Co., we are able to bring class-leading, value-adding solutions like the 90 Inch LED to our customers and we are looking forward to introducing more of our innovative products in 2013," he added.

Expanding the boundaries of large screen displays, the sleek new LED display offers customers unbeatable image quality, high-brightness, contrast and energy savings. It is designed to meet growing demand for larger monitors from retail, transport and exhibition/museum sectors and delivers high-quality performance across key benchmarks.

The new unit can be mounted portrait or landscape, and is easier to install with significantly less weight than similar-size plasma displays and it has numerous connectivity and control options. Resolution is full HD (1920x1080) with high brightness across the display.

Sharp also introduced one if its new 4K2K models, the 32 Inch monitor which uses the ultra-high definition technology which is four times higher resolution than standard HD (3,840 x 2,160 pixels.). The 4K2K displays are characterized by low power consumption and a LED Display with a full backlight behind it.

However, Sharp not only showcased the ultra large size monitors, but also focused on versatility with some of its first look products for the region. Sharp's 20 Inch touch monitor concept is a product which utilizes Microsoft Windows 8 operating system to combine with a 10-point touch screen function to provide a wide range of industry applications.

As a leading player in the document business industry in Qatar and in line with its commitment to the market, Sharp also launched the MX-7040N and MX-6240N digital full colour Multi Function Printers (MFPs). These are well positioned for the high volume office colour and in a light work-load production environment.

The MX-7040N and MX-6240N MFPs provide exceptional performance and expandability to meet the most discerning of business needs. Productivity-wise, the MX7040N and MX-6240N both feature a 150-sheet high-speed feeder with a engine speed of 70cpm and 62cpm (colour & B/W) respectively. In terms of build quality, the new MFPs feature an advanced, environmentally-friendly design which is free of lead and chromium, and feature a short warm up time, contributing to overall energy savings.

Rajendra Nadkani, Senior Divisional Manager Al Muftah Trading & Cont. Co. said: "We are proud to bring the latest printing solutions from Sharp to businesses in Qatar - both Print and Copy Bureaus and Corporate Reprographic Departments (CRD) of larger-scale corporations - thereby enhancing their productivity through smarter, more efficient and more reliable multi-function printers."
