Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inaugurate Etisalat's stand at Gitex Technology Week 2012

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and His Highness Maktoum bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated Etisalat's stand at the opening of the 32nd edition of Gitex Technology Week 2012 which started today until 18th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
During their visit to the stand, Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikh Maktoum were shown the many advanced services that Etisalat offers individuals and businesses within the UAE community including eLife and 4G LTE technology.
Their Highnesses were also briefed about Etisalat's future technologies, including Folus and NFC, and new applications for the banking and finance, healthcare, education, retail, construction, oil and energy and government sectors.
Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar, said, "Etisalat's investments and creative technology is helping to shape a new era for the telecommunications sector. Etisalat is committed to enhancing the capabilities of the countries and economies in which we operate."
"We will do this by keeping up with global technological advances and investing in advanced networks to provide innovative solutions that contribute to promoting the various business sectors and building an electronic community for generations to come," said Mr Julfar.
Saleh Al Abdooli expressed his pleasure with Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikh Maktoum's visit to Etisalat's stand.
"Etisalat is very keen to participate in Gitex as it is an ideal platform to showcase our latest updates in the digital world. Etisalat's stand will highlight the technology of the future under the theme of 'Shape Your World with Tomorrow's Technology'. We will also use this event to build new partnerships with a number of industry leading institutions in the country," he added.
"Etisalat will continue to create new advanced technologies and solutions that enhance the UAE's position on the global map." said Mr Al Abdooli.
