Shell selects WorleyParsons to manage Basra gas project

Shell Gas Iraq BV has awarded Australia's WorleyParsons a three-year deal to provide project management support and services for Basra Gas Co's (BGC) gas facilities and infrastructure in Iraq. The firm will provide project management and construction supervision personnel to support BGC in the rehabilitation inspection, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) activities. "The contract will be executed from WorleyParsons' offices in Iraq and the UAE, and will involve working in different locations around the world with front end engineering design and EPC contractors," the company said.
