Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel and Towers lights up in pink supporting the Breast Cancer Campaign

Under the patronage of HRH Princess Ghida Talal Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, the Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel and Towers held a lunch ceremony sponsoring the Breast Cancer Campaign of 2012 "Get Screened, Keep the Promise" during October, the month dedicated for the fight against breast cancer and raise awareness on its consequences and help minimize the risk of breast cancer by doing early detection screening tests.
Among the attendees were a number of important figures such as Her Royal Highness Princess Ghida Talal Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, HRH Princess Dina Mired Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, His Excellency Dr. Abdellatif Wreikat, Minister of Health, and Dr. Asem Mansour from the King Hussein Cancer Center.
The campaign which engaged many influential personalities such as religious figures, doctors, athletes, actors and singers utilizing their reflective roles in the community, urges men to influence the women around them as mothers, wives, sisters and daughters to get regular breast cancer check-ups.
During the Breast Cancer Campaign ceremony, breast cancer survivors received bouquets of flowers as they expressed their appreciation and thanks to the KHCC for their support and commitment that helped save their lives and will help save others as well.
Mr. Enda Mullin General Manager of Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel and Towers expressed: "This is indeed a monumental campaign, as every one of us has been touched by breast cancer in one way or another. And we all share a vital role in spreading awareness and educating the women in our lives and making their health a priority."
He went on to say, "And that is why we at the Sheraton Amman Al-Nabil Hotel and Towers are honored to host this annual event with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, and thank them in return for their work and dedication in this noble cause in our beloved country, Jordan."
