Sidhil announces participation at Arab Health
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, January 23 - 2013 at 12:30
- PRESS RELEASE
UK healthcare furniture manufacturer Sidhil is heading to Arab Health on the back of successfully winning a series of contracts across the Middle East.
The electrically operated plinths have been engineered to cope with the very specific demands of heavier patients and are capable of handling user weights of up to 320kgs, which is particularly useful in physiotherapy and neurology applications, where a larger surface area and weight bearing capability is required.
Paul Hampton, Sidhil's Export Sales Manager, said: "This particular order was won by Sidhil against stiff competition from other manufacturers around the world. We are increasingly finding that the quality of our UK-manufactured products, together with the flexibility inherent in our manufacturing processes, is leading to a dramatic growth in export enquiries.
"In support of this, we are currently investing in our distributor network to provide professional support services for our customers in the Middle East, and the Arab Health exhibition will be ideal for us to build on this."
Arab Health is the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East with 3,500 exhibitors from over 140 countries and over 70,000 people attending across the four days. Arab Health takes place at the International Conference Centre in Dubai.
Established in 1888, Sidhil designs, manufactures and supplies a large selection of products to the NHS and private healthcare markets in the UK and now increasingly across Europe and the rest of the world.
All Sidhil beds, couches and plinths are produced in the UK at its purpose built factory premises which utilise the latest high-technology manufacturing and finishing.
Clive Siddall, Sales & Marketing Director said: "Our products are very competitive with global suppliers in terms of both price and functionality. As a result, we are seeing a steady increase in export sales, particularly from the Middle East where performance, reliability and product safety are vital considerations."
Arab Health 2013 runs from the 28th to the 31st of January in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Sidhil will be exhibiting in Hall 7 at Stand 7B01.
