SIIG shares jump as Saudi Chevron Phillips resumes operations

The Riyadh-based Tadawul All-Share Index rose back above 7,000 on Saturday, closing 0.4% higher at 7,027.49. Sabic was the most liquid share and added 0.27% to reach SR92.75. Saudi Industrial Investment Group or SIIG gained 2.71%, finishing at SR22.75. Earlier in the day, SIIG said that the plant of its strategic alliance partner Saudi Chevron Phillips which was shut down on Jan. 20 for maintenance works has resumed operations today. The plant, located in Jubail Industrial City, produces benzene, cyclohexane, and motor gasoline, for scheduled maintenance. The required maintenance works were completed successfully, said SIIG.
