Sipchem starts up ethyl acetate facility

Saudi International Petrochemical Co (Sipchem) has announced the start-up of ethyl acetate (EA) & butyl acetate (BA) plant at its complex in Jubail Industrial City, Arab News has reported. The plant has a production capacity of 100 KTPA of ethyl acetate and butyl acetate. The financial impact will take effect with the commercial operations of the plant expected in August, upon completion of the plant reliability tests, Sipchem said.
