SNS announces the go-live of the Infor Warehouse Management solution at Ahmad Tea facilities

Ahmad Tea is a renowned tea company that blends, packs and distributes its own brand of tea across over 70 countries. With a 7,000 pallet-position warehouse expanding soon to 10,000 and high number of daily transaction due to high demand on their product, Ahmad Tea contracted SNS to implement the Best-of-Breed Infor WMS solution.

The Infor WMS solution, that went live beginning of this year, manages pallets and cases movements in a warehouse that stores raw material, packaging products and finished goods in addition to a cold storage facility. The software includes a built-in handheld application allowing the quick capture of such information as ERP item tracking number and manufacturing and expiry dates. The handheld application is also used at picking to minimize errors and provide real-time visibility and tracking to customer bound orders.

The Infor WMS solution was seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP by SNS technical consultants who built 9 interfaces to ensure both systems' data is constantly in sync. From their side, SNS operational consultants ensured that the standard operating procedures for the warehouse were based on best practices and Ahmad Tea team is fully capable of maintaining the application on their own after go-live.
