Social media expert Richard FitzGerald joins Mindshare UAE

Mindshare, an agency dedicated to innovative brand development for its clients, recently announced the appointment of Richard FitzGerald as the Social Media Director for its United Arab Emirates office. FitzGerald has six years of digital and social media experience, working at agencies such as Cybercom, We Are Social, and most recently MEC in the United Kingdom.
FitzGerald then assumed a number of positions in marketing, gaining expertise in utilizing social media for marketing purposes and making his own contributions to the development of the field.
At MEC, FitzGerald led efforts to harness the influence of social media enthusiasts for campaign-oriented blogger events, Twitter competitions, and live content publishing.
FitzGerald has worked on social media strategies for such prominent international and United Kingdom-based brands as Wilkinson Sword, Right Guard, Lloyds Banking Group, Specsavers, United Biscuits, Coca Cola, Aer Lingus, and many others.
