- PRESS RELEASE
In the run up to its 20th Birthday celebrations in March 2013, high-street retailer Splash has launched its first brand TVC, titled 'Fashion Ball'. An extension of 'Fashion 365' that captures the essence of fashion in everyday life, the TVC will create a connect through collection, emotion and most importantly attitude amongst the fashion savvy audiences.
Raza Beig, CEO, Splash & ICONIC, said, "Splash has been synonymous with stylish and cutting edge ad campaigns in the Region wherein we have explored different mediums to communicate with our audiences. This is the first time we have developed a TVC that will explore a medium we have not ventured in so far. The TVC draws its cues from our campaign with a fresh perspective and is a memorable reinforcement of the brand's philosophy."
As we near 20 years in the Region, we look back at our journey on how Splash has evolved from an initial vision, to a fledgling start-up, to the award-winning high-street brand that it is today. Over the years fashion has translated into everyday life with consumers choosing to stay stylish and dress on trend on a daily basis. This need for everyday fashion is what we have highlighted through our TVC that combines slick styling, an interesting concept and powerful music which is bound to have an impact and recall amongst the viewers."
The TVC uses two models, male & female where each is shown in 5 different outfits, in a background that is laced with white translucent balls which have various dates written on them. The dates reflect the essence of 'Fashion 365' which is a combination of the best high-street trends offering a perfect wardrobe. The models energy, playfulness and youthful spirit is teamed with music on a crescendo offering a fresh and flirty take on fashion. As the TVC draws to an end a giant ball dated 31st December bounces for one last time and bursts to reveal the Splash 'Fashion 365' logo.
The TVC which is now on air will run on pan-regional channels such as MBC 1, MBC 2, Dubai TV, Sama Dubai, MBC 4 amongst others along with top Asian channels.
