- PRESS RELEASE
Sports Revolution, the international sports media and marketing group, is responding to rapidly-increasing demand from advertisers and rights holders in the Middle East, and has appointed James Venn as Business Development Director in its Dubai office.
The Dubai office, which opened in 2011, is a joint venture between Sports Revolution and the communications agency, Face to Face, whose clients include Unilever, Aujan Industries and Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC). The joint venture is called Sports Revolution f2f and will focus on providing sports marketing and sponsorship solutions to brands and rights holders within the UAE and across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Sports Revolution Group Managing Director Antony Marcou commented, "James brings proven skills and experience to Sports Revolution in the Middle East. His appointment to the Dubai office underpins our focus on international expansion and strengthens our presence in this important region."
Chris Bell, the CEO of Face to Face, said, "Having previously identified sports marketing and communications as an opportunity within the region, we are delighted to join forces with James and look forward to working with him and benefitting from his experience working with major brands and sporting properties."
James added, "Dubai is the natural location to be able to tap into the global ambition and rapid growth of leading brands, and sports and events, in the region. Many of these organisations have already used the power of sport to help build a global profile. I look forward to using Sports Revolution's progressive approach to sports marketing, inspired by the new ways in which fans consume and share their passion, to further build on this appetite."
