SQU launches online network to share video presentations

Oman's Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) has launched a new online network for producing and sharing video presentations, allowing presenters to publish their video presentations and involve the audience via scrollable slide thumbnails, comments and quizzes, Oman Daily Observer has reported. PresentationTube has attracted thousands of teachers, virtual presenters, e-learning instructors, business professionals and students from around the world, said assistant professor of educational technology at SQU's College of Education, Dr Alaa Sadik. "Video presentations can be used in regular classrooms, flipped classrooms, home revisions, e-learning courses, blended learning environments, distance education settings, virtual conferences and business orientations", he said.
