The likes of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose will experience the legendary traditions of the iconic St Regis brand this week as they prepare to compete for one of the European Tour's most coveted titles.
In addition, the stars will experience the century old butler service, evening rituals and maybe even a taste of the brand's signature Bloody Mary - customs which age back 100 years to the grand opening of the brand's New York establishment.
Throughout the week, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort will display their excellence and finest expression of service, hosting the ProAm gala dinner in the expansive Regal Ballroom on Wednesday 16th January as well as a series of interactive guest experiences.
The resort's dedication to the Championship has also been extended to all guests staying at the revered resort during the championship - granting complimentary tickets to all, as visitors rub shoulders with the best players in the world while also offering special food and beverage initiatives across its various venues for when in the hotel.
Since its opening in Dec 2011, the city's first true beach resort has quickly earned a reputation for creating a world-class and bespoke golf and leisure experience on Saadiyat, as Abu Dhabi continues to emerge as an international golfing address, boasting three championship caliber courses.
"We look forward to welcoming the great and the good from the world of golf. Our staff are uncompromising when it comes to service and hospitality and will take pride in creating a most memorable St. Regis experience," said John Pelling, General Manager of The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort.
"The hotel is flanked by the turquoise blue waters of the Arabian Gulf and the Saadiyat Beach Golf Course, and we hope the relaxing atmosphere will allow the competing professional to perform their best."
