Starwood Preffered Guest offers once-in-a-lifetime experiences throughout the Middle East

Moments by SPG, which provides a series of auctions for exclusive and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, gives members a chance to use their Starpoints to bid for access to a private acoustic performance by Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield, a meet-and-greet with racing legend Michael Schumacher and a private polo lesson with world-renowned Argentinean polo player, Ignacio "Nacho" Figueras.

The groundbreaking SPG Moments program launched in 2007, and since then thousands of members have transformed their Starpoints into extraordinary lifestyle events. SPG members have gained insider access to red carpet movie premieres, live concerts by top artists, championship sporting events, private dinners with world-renowned chefs, and others. Recent Moments have included VIP access at the Monaco Grand Prix and Women's Final at the Wimbledon, singing lessons with Natasha Bedingfield and a personal tour of El Bulli Taller with Chef Ferran Adria.

SPG Moments with Natasha Bedingfield
• On November 1, through its global partnership with Live Nation Entertainment, SPG will host a private acoustic performance by UK pop star Natasha Bedingfield at the Grosvenor House Dubai. With the radio hits, 'These Words','Unwritten' and 'Pocket Full of Sunshine, among others Bedingfield will be visiting the UAE for the special event, which will be attended by her fans from the SPG programme.

SPG Moments with Michael Schumacher

• SPG will also fulfill the dreams of its motoring enthusiasts with the opportunity to meet Formula One legend, Michael Schumacher, on November 3 at the Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa. Schumacher, who will be in the capital with the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS team for the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, will meet with fans at an exclusive VIP event organsied by SPG. In May, Starwood partnered with MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS to become an official Team Partner and will host the team as they travel to various Grand Prix venues on the Formula One calendar.

SPG Moments with St. Regis Connoisseur Nacho Figueras

• Polo star and St. Regis Connoisseur, Nacho Figueras will be visiting the region bringing to life St. Regis' very special take on the Sport of Kings and will host a private polo experience for SPG members on November 9. Figueras has been associated with St. Regis over the last few years and has helped cement the brand's historic involvement with polo and the sport's ubiquitous style around the world.

In the Middle East, other Moments by SPG have included a golf challenge which gave out one million Starpoints to the winner, equivalent to up to 100 free nights' stay at over 1,000 Starwood hotels and resorts around the world. SPG Moments also offered members an exclusive meet-and-greet with legendary jazz musician Wynton Marsalis at the grand opening of the Jazz at Lincoln Centre in Doha, meet-and-greet with comedian Russell Peters and a golf clinic hosted by professional golfer, Colin Montgomerie, at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi.
