STC introduces exclusive Huawei Ascend P1 LTE first Huawei 4G device in world

STC announced the exclusive launch of Huawei Ascend P1 LTE, the first Huawei 4G device in the world. The device, which was introduced during Gitex Dubai 2012, comes with an Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 OS. The release comes to reaffirm STC's commitment to providing the latest technologies in the telecommunication industry.
Commenting on this occasion, Jiao Jian, President of Huawei Device in the Middle East said, "Huawei is aware that 4G LTE technology represents the future of mobile telecommunications, and that faster data networks are becoming increasingly important, especially when it comes to users selecting a mobile device. The Ascend P1 LTE is compatible with 4G LTE and 3G technologies and is highly efficient at sending and receiving data. The device features a 4.3" touch screen, at 950 x 540 pixels, and employs Corning's Gorilla II glass and Super AMOLED HD technologies. The device also features full Arabic language support in addition to the latest Google Services. The Ascend P1 LTE comes fully loaded with a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM 8960 dual-core processor, a 4 GB internal memory, 1 GB of RAM, and an external memory support of 64 GB. It also comes with a 8 megapixels AF, Dual-LED flash rear-facing camera, with 30 frames per second picture quality, and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.
It is worth mentioning that the IT giant Huawei had an aggressive entrance into the telecommunication device market, and the company is considered to be the 6th biggest mobile phone manufacturer in the world, and is steadily consolidating its leadership through confident steps and by focusing its investment strategies on capacity boosting and research and development, as the company's investments in this area showed tremendous growth, reaching $3.76bn over the last year, an increase of 34% compared to the preceding year. The company intends to launch a new, distinguished set of smart phones in 2012, including the fastest and thinnest smart phone in the world.
