STC offers 'STC AppStore' packed with more than 7,000 applications

STC's app store provides both web and wap interfaces, specially designed to improve user experience and familiarity with the services and applications that have been developed to facilitate usage of the applications.

STC focused on two fundamental elements before launching the app store; firstly providing a high quality app store interface, and secondly complying with the highest standards of security to protect the user's privacy, as the company experiments all functions of the application and ensures its operability.

The company also communicates with developers to better enhance its programmes, in addition to ensuring the reliability of the software, history of the developer, and privileges of the programme. STC also tracks all links by using an F-Secure systems to ensure virus-free programmes.

STC also provided a programming platform for Saudi developers to allow them new horizons that enable them to extend their products to the widest customer segment, including mobile phone users in the Kingdom. The company also provides facile and safe methods of payment, by adding the charges on the customer's billt or deducting it from the customer's prepaid 'SAWA' credit balance.

It is noteworthy that STC's app store is available to Android users, including Samsung, Sony, LG, Huawei, HTC users, and also available to Apple's iOS users including iPhone 3, 4, and 5. STC's app store will soon be launched to Blackberry 10 and Window 8 users.
