STC organizes seminar on 'Modern Trends in Program and Project Management'

In collaboration with Project Management Institute (PMI) STC organized a seminar on "Modern Trends in Program and Project Management" lately in Four Seasons Hotel in presence of a number of state and private sectors CEOs.

The seminar tackled subjects like Organizational Resiliency and its Impact on Program and Project Management and the Increasing Importance of Change and Risk Management in Program and Project Management. The guest to the seminar and PMI vice president Mr. Greg Kello talked about the impacts of the world economic conditions on program and project management as all state and private sectors have now become more responsible to line up a more professional program and project management performance to realize their objectives. Further, the participants deliberated on the increasing significance of the development of human resources employed in program and project management to ensure higher growth, competitiveness, and mastery of the new challenges.

It is noteworthy that holding such seminar by STC stems from its dedication and national role connected to corporate social responsibility as this seminar "is organized in a time where the government is paying more attention to better project management and raising efficiency to realize optimum return on investments. Besides, the seminar stands as a favorable chance to project management officials to meet, exchange views and discuss ways of enhancing project management," STC acceded to the International Forum of Project Management on April 2012.
