STC premium partner in Saudi Arabia CIO summit 2012

STC participates in the Saudi Arabia CIO Summit 2012. The summit, which is held in Jeddah, takes place from the 25th to the 26th of September, where more than 100 of the most influential information technology experts in the Kingdom will participate.

The summit will discuss the latest developments in the Kingdom's information technology industry, the new directions in the telecommunication industry and the effectiveness of collaborative tools, and will focus primarily on the role that IT management can play to enhance the operational efficiency and to identify priorities in IT projects.

The conference will also showcase aspects related to the management of information centers and business continuity, and the data recovery process in the event of a disaster.

STC participates in the summit as the telecom company with the largest network in the Middle East, empowering the company to provide many services and innovative solutions to the Enterprise sector, in addition to providing the latest information technologies, application, and innovations, including the Cloud Computing service, which the company had the lead in introducing for the first time in the Saudi market.

It is worth mentioning that STC had announced earlier in a press conference that it intends to participate in the summit as a premium partner, for the second consecutive year, in cooperation with IDC, the organizer of the summit
