Ernst & Young has appointed Stuart Jones, Jr. as an Executive Director, to lead its Fraud Investigations & Dispute Services (FIDS) strategic client engagement efforts across the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region.
Stuart's appointment is a clear indication of the importance that Ernst & Young ascribes to growing its business and service offerings in MENA, specifically in the areas of increasing transparency and reducing costs for clients.
Chandler added: "There appears to be significant demand regionally and locally for these services, not only from companies who have experienced fraud, and who need specialist investigative skills, but also from organisations wishing to protect themselves from future fraud, bribery, corruption and money laundering risks."
Before joining Ernst & Young Stuart was the U.S. Treasury Department's Financial Attaché to the Gulf, responsible for representing the Department on all key policy matters. For his service with U.S. Treasury in the United States and abroad, Stuart received the Meritorious Service Award and two Secretary's Honor Awards.
