Symbiosis Medical Centre opens doors at Dubai Silicon Oasis

Dr. Mohamed Al Zarooni, Vice Chairman & CEO of Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, led the opening ceremony that was attended by Dr. Syed Ateeque Hussain Naqvi - CEO, Medical Director, Dr. Riffat Khan - Executive Director, Symbiosis Medical Centre and senior officials from Dubai Health Authority, DSOA and Symbiosis Medical Centre. The inaugural event included a guided tour of the 12000 sq. ft. facility for the distinguished guests.

The new Symbiosis Medical Centre offers medical services in general practice, family medicine, paediatrics, dentistry and orthodontics, general surgery, gastroenterology, dermatology, physiotherapy, ENT, head and neck, psychiatry and counselling, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, gynaecology and obstetrics, pain management clinics, cardiology, radiology and nutrition.

Dr. Zarooni said, "The opening of the Symbiosis Medical Centre comes as part of our obligation to ensure the delivery of services that meet the needs of residents as well as those working out of the free zone. The centre complements DSO's holistic offerings that include education, retail and healthcare facilities. It also reinstates our position as a fully integrated technology hub where people can enjoy a favourable living and working environment."

Dr. Syed Ateeque Hussain Naqvi said, "Dubai Silicon Oasis is a vibrant community with about 30,000 residents, which presented us with an opportunity to establish the Symbiosis Medical Centre. A wholly-owned entity of the Government of Dubai, Dubai Silicon Oasis operates as a free zone technology park for semiconductors, microelectronics and other electronics-based companies looking to set up their regional headquarters and R&D divisions in the Middle East and North Africa region.
