Tabreed signs Makkah district cooling contract

Abu Dhabi-based National Central Cooling Co (Tabreed) has announced its Saudi affiliate has signed the SR2.5bn contract to set up a cooling system to handle the increased burden of cooling the new projects in Makkah's central zone near the Holy Mosque, Arab News has reported. The project has been financed by Saudi Hollandi Bank under a 20-year contract on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis, said Saudi Tabreed.
