Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Business Forum holds 'Internet Censorship in Jordan' seminar

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Business Forum will host a seminar on Sunday, September 9, 2012, by HE Mr. Marwan Juma, former Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, and CEO of Kinz.jo and dot.jo.

Entitled "Internet Censorship in Jordan," and moderated by Mr. Jawad Abbassi, Founder and General Manager of Arab Advisors Group, this exciting lecture will tackle a highly controversial topic, especially with people looking to protect free speech.

Mr. Juma has a vast experience in various fields; he is the founder and Chairman of Kinz for information technology. He was the Chief Executive Officer at Batelco Jordan.

He is a Director of Oasis 500 and Development Alternatives, Inc. In addition, he chaired the local chapter of the Young Arab Leaders Organization.

Mr. Juma serves on several prominent boards, including for the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development, the Jordan Education Initiative, the King Abdullah Award for Excellence in Government Performance and Transparency, and the Jordan Commercial Bank.

He served on the "National Agenda's" Royal Steering Committee, entrusted with developing Jordan's national strategy for the coming 10 years.

Mr. Juma holds an M.B.A. and Bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Economics from North Carolina State University.

The seminar starts at 6 pm.
