Taqa shares even after 2012 results published

Shares of Abu Dhabi National Energy Co. or Taqa ended flat at Dhs1.34 at the ADX. Earlier in the day, the majority state-owned oil & gas and utilities firm said its net profit after minority interest fell 13% year-on-year in 2012, amounting to Dhs649m amid declining gas prices in the U. S. and Canada, among other factors. The Doha-based daily The Peninsula said in a report published earlier today, Taqa expected to launch a bond worth $800m in order to finance the Shuweihat S2 power and water project, quoting a Taqa senior executive.
