The acquisition of Digumz.com expands Tawseel Group's reach in the video gaming sector and introduces the rental concept to the e-commerce market in the Middle East market. Digumz.com will join Tawseel's market leading online store portfolio which includes Taw9eel.com and Sheeel.com
Tawseel e-Commerce Group plans to re-launch Digumz.com website in the Kuwaiti and Saudi market in the second quarter of 2013. Tawseel is also exploring the possibility of expanding the rental concept to other categories with the aim of making products available to customers, using innovative payment and ownership schemes.
"the E-commerce sector continues to grow rapidly, and this acquisition will enable Tawseel to expand its offering in the video gaming sector, We will also work on expanding the rental concept scheme into new categories" said Ahmed Al-Mazeedi, Deputy General Manager of Tawseel e-Commerce Group. Commenting on the sale of the website, Mr. Qais Dashti said "We are very happy with this transaction and we feel confident that Tawseel group will take Digumz.com to the next level of expansion."
