TBWA\RAAD wins integrated Qatar National Broadband account with OMD

TBWA\RAAD Middle East has been appointed by Qatar National Broadband Network Company (Qnbn) to deliver an integrated communications campaign to launch its latest technologies in the country.
As a shareholding company wholly owned by Qatar government, Qnbn was the first initiative of its kind in the country and its mandate is to enable accessible high-speed communications. The company is a strategic element of the country's Vision 2030, which aims to see the country transformed through investment in advanced technologies that promote a knowledge based economy.
"Our aim is to provide high-speed fiber optic broadband coverage across 95 per cent of the country and to help empower Qatar by making it one of the most universally connected countries in the world," said Jamil Beyhum, senior director marketing communications at Qnbn.
"It is therefore imperative for us to communicate with the local audience and business communities taking the benefits directly to them, which TBWA\RAAD has demonstrated a clear understanding of."
