Tecom's Indian JV to start Smart City construction on July 1

Smart City (Kochi) Infrastructure, a joint venture between Dubai's Tecom Investments and the government of Indian state of Kerala has approved the master plan for the Smart City Kochi project's first phase, The New Indian Express has reported. The master plan envisages that the first phase of the project will be set up in an area of 50 acres. According to the plan, construction of the first building is set to commence on July 1 this year and the work will be completed within 18 months.
