Tilal Liwa Hotel announces participation at ITB Berlin 2013

The property plans to meet new tour operators, tour series group and last minute tour operators and also seek new marketing opportunities for online web tools.

As a driving force in the travel industry, ITB contributes to the overall exposure of Abu Dhabi to the German market, the main feeder leisure market for Tilal Liwa Hotel. Since last year, there has been a tremendous growth in room production from this region.

Guests from the German market are mostly interested in unique and customized packages such as the "Desert & Beach Kombi" which offers 3-nights stay combination with hotels in Abu Dhabi including several activities like sightseeing visits to the camel farms, camel race arena, sand boarding, kite flying, desert walks to the amazing dunes and activities for the kids. In addition, the hotel arranges complimentary return transfers for all the leisure guests from Abu Dhabi Airport to the hotel.

"ITB is the first travel trade exhibition in the beginning of the year and is well-attended by key decision makers in the industry. Since it is a pure B2B travel exhibition, the tour operators are more serious in their discussion and looking out for business opportunities. Our participation this year is to inform our partners about the summer offers from April to September as well as offers for the next winter season. We will also discuss the current leisure market situation and hopefully, sign up with key potential operators!"

Now on its 10th edition, ITB will welcome more than 170,000 visitors, among these 113,000 trade visitors and 11,000 represented companies from 180 countries. This year's programme includes discussion on the latest tourism issues and topical themes concerning the travel industry, both now and in the years ahead.

The team of Tilal Liwa Hotel will be located at Hall 22, D 210 within the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority's exhibition. Visitors to the stand will receive fact sheets about Tilal Liwa Hotel and answer any questions that they have about Abu Dhabi and the UAE as a whole.
