Apart from JAFZA's vital role as the UAE's logistics hub, Dubai also hosts numerous East African IT channels that make managing and servicing the East Africa region's channels through JAFZA the faster and more expedient option. Treated akin to the Middle East, the East African region will be benefitting from winning strategies, market development activities, latest products and services. Additionally, there will be no time lag in the availability of the latest products in the region, as they will be concurrently launched in the region in line with worldwide launches.
Showcasing immense success in the Middle East owing to key markets like the UAE, KSA and Qatar, Toshiba's range of Notebook computers have witnessed a year on year growth of 50% for the first half of 2012 against the stagnant market growth in the region for Notebook PCs.
