Toyota recalls 209,000 FJ Cruisers

  • Japan: Sunday, March 17 - 2013 at 07:22

Toyota Motor Corp is recalling around 209,000 of its FJ Cruiser sport utility vehicles due to a problem involving seat belt retractors, LA Times has reported. The Japanese carmaker said cracks may develop over an extended period of time if the rear door is repeatedly and forcefully closed, due to insufficient strength of the rear door panel. Toyota said it hasn't received any reports of accidents or injuries related to the problem, which involves 2007 through 2013 model year FJ Cruisers.
