Traders Hotel, Dubai goes wireless

The hotel has been providing complimentary Internet access to all guests since 2009, with wired connectivity in all the guestrooms and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel's public areas and function rooms. From September 2012, all guests at Traders Hotel, Dubai are able to connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi in the rooms, in addition to the regular wired connectivity.

"As technology gets more advanced with sophisticated handheld devices a norm in our daily lives, it is important for us to keep up with the times. As one of the few hotel groups in Dubai to offer this service, I believe it gives us an added edge and sets us apart from our competitors," said Stephan Kapek, the hotel's general manager.
