Transport Infrastructure Egypt 2013 to kick off in January

Transport Infrastructure Egypt 2013, taking place from 27-29 January, at the Radisson Blu, Cairo, welcomes the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Investment to support this emergent transition of the transport infrastructure sector.

Egypt is now increasingly welcoming and encouraging Private Public Partnerships (PPP) to increase the pace of transport infrastructure developments and attract local and foreign investments.

Transport Infrastructure Egypt 2013, the region's first exclusive event focusing on all 4 modes of transport, will integrate Egypt's development plans for rail, road, maritime and air transport, current and future investment projects and changes applied to the transportation networks across Egypt.

Reviewing Egypt's 5-year plan to ensure timely delivery of projects including airport cities and freight terminals, PPPs and investment opportunities in the transportation and infrastructure sector, creating investment opportunities through PPP, highlighting project developments for the Cairo Ring, developing transport infrastructure to function as an interlinking system and the new metro line 4 are some of the main topics that will be highlighted.

This 3-day forum is officially supported by members of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Finance with the backing by Brig. Sami Abdullah, Chairman, River Transport Authority, Prof. Dr. Khaled Abbas, Dean - National Institute of Transport, Mahmoud Gamal El Din, Transport Investment Advisor to the Ministry Of Transport, Atter Ezzat Hannoura, Director, PPP Central Unit, Ministry of Finance, Egypt and senior representatives from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Egypt.
