GAC ties up with Pole Position Spitsbergen

GAC Group has announced its alliance with Pole Position Spitsbergen AS, establishing its base on the Svalbard archipelago in the Arctic Ocean, halfway between mainland Norway and the North Pole. The partnership is aimed at serving client needs, particularly those in the oil and gas sector. The company is also offering polar bear protection for vessels intending to berth outside of the island's settlements.

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is turning to private finance to pay for future work on the Dubai Metro with plans to add 240km of track and 250km of tramlines. The government is considering three forms of financing - Build Operate Transfer (BOT), Direct Public Finance (DPF), and Public Private Partnerships (PPP).
