Transportation Minister chairs Bahrain's delegation to the Arab Transport Ministers Council Meeting in Alexandria

His Excellency Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transportation, chaired the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation to the Arab Transport Ministers Council meeting held at the headquarters of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport in Alexandria, Egypt.
Other items discussed included the review of the regulations of the Agreement on the Liberalization of Air Transportation between Arab countries as well as the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme.
Commenting on the meeting, His Excellency, Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, said: "Bahrain's participation in this important ministerial meeting underlines the Kingdom's commitment to further developing its transportation sector, and to participating in international projects focused on enhancing transportation infrastructure. High-profile meetings such as this provide an excellent platform to share knowledge and expertise, and help in aligning the country's transportation strategy with the integrated Arab transportation strategy, which will serve all economic sectors in the Kingdom, enhance productivity, and ultimately help to improve the quality of land, sea, and air transportation, in keeping with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030."
