Travel City, Travel Point honour eight Omani staff for exemplary service during Ramadan

The Management as well as the respective Line Managers lauded both the lady employees for their voluntary decision in staying back post the Ramadan working hours, to ensure that there was no hindrance in the smooth functioning of the organisation's activities, owing to the presence of fewer staff during this time.

The entire group of award winners were commended by the Group General Manager, Mr. Sunil Prabhakar and the company's Finance Controller, Ramesh Ramachandran, who presented the award winning staff with a custom made trophy of appreciation and special gift vouchers.

"Travel City and Travel Point believes in giving their Omani Staff the right position and responsibility in the organisation. The two staff members, who belonged to our hard-working Accounts Team, duly deserved this reward for displaying commendable amount of dedication and responsibility towards the organisation not only during this difficult time of intense fasting and prayer, but also during their usual working days," said Mr. Prabhakar, applauding the two ladies for their cooperation with the Management and their work.

"The Company believes in periodically assessing the work skills and potential of the employees, while evaluating them for promotions and increment. This step taken by the management was a gesture to show the company's interest in giving local talent in Oman as well as the entire staff team the backing to perform and prove their potential, and thereby become the future of the travel and tourism industry," stated Muneera Al Nabhani, Manager - HR.

This event was attended by over a hundred employees from the organisation, including those from the interior branches of the company. It was an eventful evening where the whole team at Travel City and Travel Point shared the solemnity of the Sacred Month of Ramadan with their co-staff members.
