  • Saudi Arabia: Wednesday, October 10 - 2012 at 16:42
  • PRESS RELEASE

The law firm of Tribonian Law Advisors (TLA) announced that it has expanded its presence in the region by opening an office in Riyadh in association with El Gasseer Law Firm.

Mothanna El Gasseer, a Saudi qualified lawyer with more than ten years' experience advising on corporate and finance transaction in the Kingdom, will be the managing partner of the firm's Riyadh office.

Prior to establishing El Gasseer Law Firm, Mothanna had worked as an associate at several of the leading firms in Riyadh, including Abdulaziz Algasim Law Firm in association with Allen & Overy, Al Yaqoub Legal Advisors in association with Ernst & Young and Al Tamimi & Co.

This expansion by TLA follows the appointment by the firm in July of a new partner, Carlo Pianese, an English qualified lawyer with many years of experience advising on corporate transactions in Europe and the Middle East at the international law firms of Allen & Overy and Vinson & Elkins.

TLA's managing partner, Rindala Beydoun, said: "Building on the success we have enjoyed over the last ten months since the establishment of TLA, we have decided to enter Saudi Arabia. We believe there is a need in the Kingdom for a boutique law firm such as TLA to provide clients with quality and responsive service at competitive rates. As the largest and most active market in the GCC, our entry into Saudi Arabia represents immense growth potential which we hope to achieve through our partnership with El Gasseer Law Firm."
