According to a study by The Social Clinic, YouTube has topped the list of websites visited by internet users in Saudi Arabia, with Facebook in third place and Twitter in sixth, Saudi Gazette has reported. "Up to 90 million YouTube videos are viewed daily by users in Saudi Arabia, placing the kingdom on top of the list," said social business strategist, Bilal Hallab. Facebook is still maintaining the number one position in Saudi Arabia when it comes to its use with six million active users. About 23% of people in the kingdom have Facebook accounts, 90% of whom tend to use Arabic language to access their pages, while only 8% use English, he said. Twitter's penetration growth rate increased in the kingdom by 3,000% from 2011 to 2012, much higher than that of the global average, which is around 300%, Hallab added.
