Twofour54 Intaj manages broadcast production of the Arabian Gulf Cup 2013 in Bahrain

Twofour54 Intaj, the media production arm of Twofour54,alongside Broadcast Solutions Group (BSG), have been awarded the television production management of the 21st Arabian Gulf Cup Tournament, the region's biennial football tournament, which is taking place in Bahrain from5thto 18thJanuary 2013.
The Gulf Cup is the region's premier football tournament and in 2013 fixtures take place at Bahrain's National Stadium and Khalifa Sports City Stadium. Intaj's mix of technological innovation and high quality production are a good fit for the tournament.
37 HD cameras including a spider cam and ultra-motion camera is being installed at both locations to ensure all the excitement of the football is captured live and at the highest quality.
The team is providing footage to all the regional sports broadcasters covering this highly anticipated event, rather than to one exclusive broadcaster, adding to the complexity of production requirements and timings. TV channels broadcasting the competition include Abu Dhabi Sports Channel, Dubai Sports Channel, Al Kass TV, Line Sport, Sharjah TV, Kuwait TV, Saudi Sports Channel, Bahrain TV, Oman Sports Channel, Iraqiya TV, MBC.
Commenting on this major contract, Noura Al Kaabi, CEO of Twofour54, said: "This marks Intaj's biggest production management project outside the UAE to date. The team has shipped around 20 tonnes of equipment to Bahrain, and commenced the installation procedures on 27th December. A crew of over 80 people will be required to complete the project, including producers, directors, engineers, and cameramen.
