UAE approves Dhs165m in housing loans

The Zayed Housing Programme has approved names of 329 Emiratis and beneficiaries of the housing loans and grants worth Dhs165m for April 2013, Wam has reported. The loans were given to beneficiaries whose salaries exceed Dhs10,000, and are capable of repaying the debt, while grants were distributed to beneficiaries who earn less than Dhs10,000. Until March 2013, the programme offered Dhs13bn in housing aid to 28,911 entitled beneficiary citizens.
