UAE to handover 228 houses to citizens

The UAE government is set to deliver around 228 houses to UAE citizens at South Barsha, as part of the second phase of a 1240-house Barsha project, Wam has reported. Total cost of the second phase of 228 houses, whose works started in February 23, 2009, on a total area of about 29.23 hectares, stood at Dhs272m. The Barsha housing project, which cost Dhs1.4bn, is 77.9% complete and is expected to be completed in September 7, 2014.
