Tawazun Holding's Merkel reveals new and improved flagship RX Helix rifle for the first time in UAE at ADIHEX

The new and improved RX Helix brings together innovation from the UAE and German precision engineering in a renowned rifle product which was originally the brainchild of HH Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

With the original RX Helix having been launched at ADIHEX last year, the new version features a number of improvements aimed at further enhancing the rifle's design, technical mastery, dismantling and reassembly mechanism, as well as enhanced safety aspects.

The most notable improvement is the new semi weight interchangeable barrels in three different lengths. It is now possible to tailor the rifle to the personal demands of the shooter to allow for even more precision. This improvement allows for more optimized weight distribution, greater stability while shooting and higher shooting accuracy and performance results.

The RX Helix will also offer a synthetic stock combination for front and rear stock for everyday hunting purposes, which is suitable for all temperatures. The dark anthracite stock material consists of a glass fiber-reinforced composite material with a soft-grip surface.

The soft and noiseless material can be easily gripped in extreme cold and is - thanks to a homogeneous surface - dirt-resistant. The RX Helix will also be available for left-handed shooters, with a stock that will make precise shooting easier.

Merkel has also improved the RX Helix carrying case for disassembled transport making the rifle's Take-down feature even more convenient for users.

Visitors to the Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) can see the new RX Helix and other rifles on display at the Tawazun Holding stand in the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) from until the 8thof September. In addition to Merkel, the Tawazun Holding stand is showcasing products from three other subsidiaries - Caracal International, Tawazun Advanced Defense Systems (TADS), and Caracal Light Ammunition (CLA).
