The UAE health ministry has warned the public not to respond to the health and beauty products that are displayed through blackberries, internet blogs and other social networking methods, Wam has reported. "The ministry of health had received reports that some people advertise for weight reduction products and other medicines that treat certain diseases or increase sexual abilities through blackberries," said Dr Amin Hussein Al Amiri, the ministry's assistant undersecretary for medical practices and licences. "Immediately, we contacted the competent authorities to take the necessary measures against offenders," said Al Amiri.
