UAE ranked as the world's 20 largest exporter

The World Trade Organisation (WTO) has ranked the UAE as the world's 20th largest exporter in merchandise trade surpassing countries such as Australia, Brazil, Switzerland and Sweden, Gulf News has reported. The UAE exported $285bn (Dhs1trn) in merchandise trade, constituting 1.6% of the world's exports, which stood at $18.215trn of merchandise trade in 2011, said the WTO.
