UAE shuts down Sharjah hospital over violations

The UAE's health ministry has temporarily shut down an ophthalmology hospital in Sharjah, after it was found to be lacking adequate medical staff, Gulf Today has reported. The specialised hospital will be temporarily shut down until the violation is amended, said the director of Sharjah Medical Zone and the undersecretary of the ministry, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Saqr Al Qassimi.
