UAE TRA hosts Black Hat Abu Dhabi Conference 2012 coinciding with the events of the 41st anniversary celebration marking UAE National Day

On this occasion, His Excellency Mohamed Nasser Al-Ghanim, General Manager of Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) said: "We are happy to host this huge conference which is a global leader in the field of information security for the third year in the city of Abu Dhabi. We can only feel happier and prouder by the fact that the conference coincides with a precious occasion which is the 41st anniversary celebration marking UAE National Day. We are deploying all our efforts to ameliorate the level of the telecommunication and information technology in order for it to reach the highest levels and to become a global leader in both the security and technical fields".

The main subjects that will be discussed in "Black Hat Abu Dhabi 2012" conference are focused on the latest modern and most important security researches including the mobile phones, financial systems, attacks and threats related to the internet network. As well as, the conference will discuss the establishment of network protocols such as "Long Term Evolution" project "LTE".

The conference includes more than 30 speakers, three orientation summarized sessions and ten training sessions. The Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) represented by the Computer Emergency Response Team (aeCERT) in cooperation with Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research contributed in hosting Black Hat Abu Dhabi Conference 2012 from 03 December until 06 December at Emirates Palace Hotel.
