UAEU initiate cooperation with Helwan University

The President of Helwan University at Egypt visited United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) to explore mutual relations between the two universities in fields of research, education and student affairs.
The UAEU Vice Chancellor and the visiting delegation discussed ways of consolidating mutual relations between the two universities.
Dr. Al Noaimi briefed the Egyptian delegation about the latest scientific developments of the University commending the role of H.H. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, UAEU Chancellor, in the development of the higher education in UAE and the management of all educational organizations.
Dr. Al Noaimi described the new established departments and courses along with the scientific centres which cooperate with local institutions in areas of research and studies concerned with the community.
Dr. Al Noaimi pointed out that, "UAEU has fruitful partnerships with many educational organizations and universities around the world which are based on exchanging expertise, cooperation in research and faculty and students exchange. We are particularly keen on developing partnerships with Arab universities due to the strong relations and shared interests among us."
Prof. Yasser Sakr, President of Helwan University, expressed his appreciation for the hospitality of UAEU management, "We are proud to partner with UAEU whom have a strong reputation of scientific and academic standing and we look forward to the beginning of this promising partnership."
The visiting Delegation toured the new campus and visited the scientific labs, student services buildings and the library before they commenced their visit.
