Important UK presence at MILIPOL 2012

Senior representatives from the United Kingdom Trade and Investment's Security Directorate will on hand to advise on a range equipments and capabilities in the UK's security sector.

Richard Freeman Senior Police Adviser in UKTI's Security Directorate leads the UK delegation. This commitment to the exhibition by UK companies and UKTI's Security Directorate reflects the importance of the security sector as significant opportunities exist both in Europe, the US and Asia as countries wish to protect their borders and also compete for global sporting events.

In 2011 UK security exports achieved over £2.5 for the first time and the UK is the fifth most successful security exporter.
