Umniah continues its partnership with 'Trip to Innovation' and supports its 8th event in Al Karak

As part of belonging to innovation, and investing in human resources, Umniah participated in the 8th event for its partner "Trip to Innovation" which targeted youth leaders in Al Karak District.

Umniah supported the initiative's 8th event that was held in two historical and touristic sites in the south of the Kingdom: Al Karak Castle, and Panorama Al Karak, where more than 150 members representing young entrepreneurs and business owners from all over the Kingdom attended the event and engaged with the sessions and workshops. Since its inception, the initiative aimed to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity away from traditional ideas especially when searching for career jobs.

During the event 10 entrepreneurs and talented people shared their experiences and stories of success while emphasizing how they transformed their dreams into productive projects.

About this partnership, Umniah's CEO Ihab Hinnawi, said: "Umniah is honored to support "Trip to Innovation" initiative as we encourage its mission believing in leadership and innovation as an investment in human resources. It is the right tool that will help young talents to utilize their creations and turn them into stories of success to improve their social and economic situation."

This initiative consists of interactive workshops demonstrating the most important ways for entrepreneurs to be successful and highlights creative thinking in an interactive environment between the participants and entrepreneurial leaders in Jordan. The event also includes field visits reaching out to entrepreneurs in their own environment and business incubators as well as national companies which reflects the successful criteria in the business world.

This renewed collaboration with trip to Innovation initiative reflects Umniah's commitment and confirms its continuous support encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation. Umniah believes in the importance of motivating youth to be creative thus leading to the creation of job opportunities, this is a continued journey and will assist young leaders in the provinces.

From his end, the TTI's services development Adviser, Neda' Kharoub said: "In each event, we seek to identify the challenges and stories that are of interest to the youth segment and fall within the triangle of creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation." Neda' stressed on the importance of the 8th event which was held in Al Karak to integrate youth and demonstrate those wonderful ideas that took advantage of simple local resources and created stories of success.

Neda' appreciated Umniah's fruitful cooperation and generous contribution in supporting the activities of "Trip to Innovation Initiative.

It is worth mentioning that 'Trip to Innovation' is a non-profit organization that aims at enhancing creativity between the Jordanian youth. It provides them with several discussions and extracurricular activities designed to equip them with an innovative mentality to enter the business world.
