Undersecretary for Commerce and Industry to inaugurate The BIG Show on March 17

Undersecretary for Commerce and Industry His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Hassan Al-Dheeb will formally open the 10th edition of The BIG Show and the 1st Oman Builders Forum on March 17 at the Oman International Exhibition Center and the Golden Tulip Seeb Hotel, respectively.
Other representative companies from Taiwan, Pakistan, India, France, Malta, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Greece will provide sourcing opportunities through a diverse range of industrial and construction equipment, marble, ceramic, stone, concrete products, and interior design exhibits.
Omanexpo General Manager Nader Abbas says, "We are proud to say that we have secured the biggest exhibition space for a country pavilion for any show in Oman. This year, we are witnessing increased support and enthusiastic response of the local, regional and international markets to the show, which reinforces our continuous efforts to position the show as a truly international platform."
The BIG Show, formerly "Interiors & Buildex," is a prestigious event which has established itself firmly as a strong representative of the building and construction sector over the years, and the re-branding of the show in 2010 signifies the start of the greater success which it aims to achieve in terms of reach, exhibitor participation, and country representation, regionally and globally.
The BIG Show will be from March 17 to 20 at the Oman International Exhibition Center and will be held concurrently with the first Oman Builders Forum at the Golden Tulip Hotel. The Forum will
feature local and international industry experts and will discuss construction contracts and urban and building issues in Oman. The Forum is supported by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and sponsored by Voltamp, WS Atkins (Kno wledge Partner).
